It’s time for Qube Wire Quarterly
Check out some exciting updates that we have for you!
Nov 2022
Introduction
Nigel Dennis
Senior Vice President, Sales
Whilst we published the first with a positive mindset, looking at not just Qube Wire but the industry, the juxtaposition with our second is extraordinary. I do not think we have ever witnessed a difference in quarterly box office numbers like it. Certainly not a time for celebration with the Omicron variant making an impact, though an opportunity to reflect on how the World needs cinema like never before.

Business of Films
Territories now open for business with restrictions
Highest Grossing Films - 2021
The latter part of the year (2021) also saw the Box Office start to pick up, China reigned supreme with the film, The Battle of Lake Changjin topping the charts with 882 million USD and proved once again that audience are increasingly starting to warm up to local productions in China. For Hollywood, Spiderman – No Way Home came as a saviour to substantially increase the US Domestic Box Office overall and went on to become the number one film in top international markets such as South Korea, Brazil, France and Australia.
